I had a good room with a newly renovated bathroom. The hotel staff was wonderful and kind. The location was great and unbeatable, at a moderate distance from Texas A&M. Eateries and bars were also next to the venue.

The hotel is conveniently located off a main road, close to several restaurants and a big box store. The self-serve breakfast station offers a variety of hot and cold options. The newly renovated bathrooms are clean and the water temperature is just right.
The housekeeping service could be improved, as the floors were not swept and the room was not properly cleaned each day.

The room was amazing and wonderful, complete with central heating and a multi-channel TV. The warm breakfast included bacon and the novelty of a Texas-shaped waffle iron. The hotel's location was convenient, close to several restaurants and a big box store.

It's very clean and comfortable inside. Staff is very helpful. Would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Commerce Texas. And if you need easy access to Texas A&M University, this is the perfect place.
Breakfast was great but need more variety. Was tired of the same thing everyday, especially since I was there for 8 days. The outside surrounding need cleaning. Lots of dry leaves.

I recently stayed at the Magnuson Hotel in Commerce for a short trip. The location was extremely convenient, with a Walmart and bar and grill right next door. The room was spacious and clean, and the beds were comfortable. The AC and heating worked well, which was necessary due to fluctuating temperatures. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I didn't have the chance to have breakfast, but the aroma from the kitchen was enticing. I would recommend this hotel.
